(Headquaters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shun Fukudome) as a new digital animation studio.




The scale of animation production market reached ￥240 billion and a record high in 2019*, and the demand for animation and the required quality of works are increasing every year. Accordingly, in the animation industry, there is a problem that it takes a few years to finish and deliver works or it is difficult to build a production system of high-quality works because of shortage of resources such as production studios and creators, and therefore it takes longer to produce animation works.


In response to these challenges, Qzil.la, Inc. aims to quickly offer high-quality content by using technologies to increase the productivity of production systems that remain analog in nature to promote DX (digital transformation) in the animation industry and by improving animators' work environment.


■Increasing productivity by utilizing technologies

As one of the initiatives to improve productivity in animation production, Qzil.la, Inc. is working on research and development to digitally transform the management of animation production process with Akatsuki Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tetsuro Koda.) As a first step, a tool that optimizes production management to reduce the number of work steps is currently under development. Also, the Company seeks to improve efficiency and expand the possibility of expression through the use of AI technology, such as creating character design utilizing technical skills of RADIUS5 Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chief Executive Officer: Daisuke Urushihara).


■Animation production as advertising solutions

Qzil.la, Inc. is capable of creating works in a short period with high efficiency, and given this characteristic, it is going to create and offer animation works as advertising solutions, as well as usual animation works.
For advertising projects, those who have knowledge of marketing and experiences of advertising operation in the Septeni Group will be in charge and propose plans though communication with clients.


■Pursuing high-quality content by working with famous creators

It dealt with animation works and promotion videos for a sports brand and a mobile game in collaboration with Mr. Susumu Mitsunaka and Mr. Naoyuki Asano. The Company will continue to produce high-quality works with famous creators.


COMICSMART Inc. promotes to offer its own IP to multiple media as a content platformer and aims to increase the value of its IP through the cooperation with Qzil.la, Inc. In addition, both companies will promote DX utilizing various technologies and contribute to the development of the manga & animation industry.
